The Justice League Cast Discuss Their Vastly Different Costumes

Comic Book News has just dropped a new Justice League cast interview, in which the film’s four stars discuss their vastly different costumes, and how one of them was able practically total comfort on set (hint—it’s not Ben Affleck as Batman). In an interview with a German publication, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller talk about how their specific characters required a very different approach to suiting up. For Momoa and Affleck, as Aquaman and Batman respectively, this meant heavy costumes. Even Ezra Miller, as the supersonic Flash, had about 25 pounds worth of wardrobe on. Gadot jokes about how her costume is quite the opposite (Wonder Woman is mostly bare-legged and armed), and as for Fisher, you might expect that the man playing Cyborg would be wearing the heaviest costume of all, but you’ll be surprised to see how they outfit him.

We’re starting to get a lot more insight into the film as the promotion is beginning to really ramp up ahead of its’ November 17 premiere. Yesterday, we shared the brand new Justice League prints that are now available, and we also discussed how composer Danny Elfman took John Williams iconic Superman score and gave it a delicious, dark spin

Justice League is DC’s first, Avengers-like ensemble film, and unites Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, along with newcomers (to the big screen) Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Rounding out the cast are Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Amber Heard as Mera, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

The film follows Bruce Wayne as he relies his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face a new, terrifying enemy. Batman and Wonder Woman recruit a team of metahumans to help fight this new threat. This new league’s five heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—are all the stands in the way of a possibly word-ending catastrophe. If only they had one more superhero to help them win the fight…
