See All 10-Years of the MCU Films Before Thanos Destroys It All in Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War has been a 10-year buildup of introducing characters, storylines, and assembling the greatest heroes in the universe. It’s been hard to keep up with – or keep track of – it all. Catching every MCU movie has been almost as hard as finding all six Soul Stones. If you’re a little behind or need a refresher, here’s your chance. AMC Theaters is hosting a mega marathon of every MCU film to date in the lead up to Infinity War.

AMC has yet to announce the details like time and cost of tickets, but you’ll need to block out 31 hours to see the entire franchise. That’s 18 movies, including the most recent release, Black Panther. It all started with Iron Man in 2008. Then came Thor and Captain America with standalone films of their own. They teamed up in 2012 with The Avengers, then fell apart again in Captain America: Civil War. Don’t forget Guardians of the Galaxy who have so far done their own thing. They’ll join the rest of the team, however, in Infinity War.

There are admittedly a lot of characters with the Infinity War IMDb page stretching on for miles. All of the aforementioned characters will unite to face Thanos, but not everyone will survive. The Avengers: Infinity War synopsis on AMC’s site calls it, “An unprecedented journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.”

This could be the final farewell to some of your favorite characters. Don’t you want to spend their last 31 hours together in the theater playing the greatest hits? According to AMC’s website, the marathon begins April 25.

Avengers: Infinity War will open just after the marathon on April 27.
