Check out the new Deadpool 2 Teaser

If you haven’t seen Logan (go see it, it’s great), that you means you’ve missed the Ryan Deadpool 2 teaser that Fox dropped in theaters—so we’ve gone ahead and embedded it below. 20th Century Fox has released the full teaser online, which includes proof of how impossible it would really be to change into your superhero outfit in a phone booth, Superman-style, with our favorite Merc with the Mouth wondering aloud (while laying on a dead man) what a phone booth is doing on a city street these days.

The teaser is yet another reminder that Deadpool’s success was due in large part to Ryan Reynolds comedic timing (his impression of Hugh Jackman in this teaser is hysterical) and the fact that the film was famously raunchy, and bloody, with that R rating. It’s not for nothing that Logan is such a critical and commercial hit, another superhero film that went the R route.

Who you won’t see in this teaser, but will in Deadpool 2, is Cable, the time traveling son of the X-Men’s Cyclops. Who plays Cable is anyone’s guess at the moment (they’re still casting him), but you can be sure the actor will have the requisite comedy chops to fit into the franchise’s mouthy tone. There’s also word that Domino, a female mutant with some luck-busting skills, is also a likely inclusion.

John Wick‘s David Leitch is directing Deadpool 2 from a screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
