Marvel Reveals Doctor Strange Poster & Concept Art

Tonight, the first Doctor Strange trailer will air on Jimmy Kimmel Live. For the uninitiated, Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch), is the "Sorcerer Supreme" of the Marvel Universe, an arrogant surgeon whose attemps to heal himself after a car accident led him to become a lot more than a mere doctor.

Directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister, Deliver us From Evil) the movie hopes to do for the weird magical realm of the Marvel Cinematic Universe what Guardians of the Galaxy did for the lawless galactic. There have already been a bunch of set photos released as a part of the Entertainment Weekly cover story, and they seemed to show a film that was embracing the peculiar particulars that make Doctor Strange such a different kind of Marvel character.

The new poster is a thing of beauty, as is the concept art of the Sanctum Santorum below. Check back in with us tomorrow for the first trailer.

Doctor Strange comes out on November 4.
